DMC TAPESTRY WOOLS - 20g hanks

The comlete range of DMC BACKGROUND WOOLS in 20g hanks. Each hank will cover approximately an area 10" x 4". To work out how many hanks you will need, times the height by the width of the finished size of your tapestry, this will give you the area. Do the same for the design area, taking in to account the background to be worked in between design. Take this away from the total area then divide by 42 if you work in inches, 260 if you work in cetimetres. This will give you the number of hanks you will need to work your background in tent stitch.
