Scope Execution:

  1. Use the scope change control procedure to manage proposed change requests.  These may be external events, errors or omissions, value added or identified risk mitigation changes.  It includes the administration, tracking, and approval levels necessary for authorising such changes.
  2. The PM should be on the constant lookout for scope creep
  • Minor refinements that eventually build to be major scope changes
  • Manage scope creep by change control
  1. As products are produced by the project these are logged under the configuration management and base lined.
