Time Execution:
- Implement a Schedule change control system that defines procedures by
which the project schedule may be changed. It includes the
administration, tracking and approvals necessary for authorising changes
to the schedule
- Manage the project schedule by recording actuals against the baseline
and record variances throughout the implementation phase.
- Set a measure
- Record progress
- Compare target dates with actual/forecast start and finish dates
- Calculate the variance
- Take remedial action
- Use project management tools such as software, gantt charts and
control charts for communicating project schedule status
