Songs and Music

Music is very much a part of my heart and I believe it is the unspoken language of the soul.

I’ve written hundreds of songs and would like to share some samples of a few I’ve recorded which I hope will give you a deeper understanding of me.

Quiet Time
is a simple lullaby to sing at bedtime, reminding our child (and us) of the love and connection that is always there between us.
[ 750 K / Dur 1:18 ] Performed by Lyn McPherson and Lynda Carr

Butterfly
is about the life and metamorphosis of a butterfly: its magic, beauty and grace. It is also an analogy for life, which we can use to teach our children about their own growth and blossoming, also about pregnancy and life in general. My girls love to do actions to this one!
[ 691 K / Dur: 1:10 ] Performed by Lynda Carr and Lyn McPherson

Doggie Song
is a fun, funny song about some of the silly and annoying things our dog does — yet we love them anyway. Sure to get them giggling!
[ 387 K / Dur 0:32 ] Performed by Lynda Carr and Jason Carr

SONGS FOR GROWN UPS

Blowing Cool
is about one spirit blowing through another. It’s about the connection we can’t see or explain, but we feel it.
[ 954 K / Dur 2:13 ] Performed by Lyn McPherson and Michael Carpenter

Mirage/Thirsty
is about when we feel we’ve almost got to what we deeply desire, only to find it was an illusion and we have to start again. It starts off being about something we’re trying to achieve and then changes into being about someone.
[1135 K / Dur 1:56 ] Performed by Lyn McPherson and Michael Carpenter

Somehow I Knew
is for all those people who simply came into my life just when they were meant to. This is about the synchronicity that happens when you ‘swim with the tide’ and are in tune.
[ 974 K / Dur 2:54 ] Performed by Lyn McPherson and Michael Carpenter
