A brand new team this year, the Chipmunks have shown that they are here for the long term. A great season with some great games! This year's awards were:

With lots of new players this year, the Goldies are training hard and playing harder. Although they are yet to win a game, they showed real team spirit and determination. Well done girls. This year's awards were:

Despite being in the wrong grade, the Maroons showed real team spirit and determination. Throughout the year they continued to try their hardest, and each game they showed improvement. This year's awards were:
Encouragement Award – Sabrina Knight ,
Most Improved – Sarah Fox-Smith,
Most Consistent – Emi Gentle. |

The were up a grade and enjoyed the competition that this involved. Another good year for them, and although they didn't make the finals, they showed all the skills that we have seen from them in the past.

Coming off a Grand Final win in 2007, the Hawkettes showed that they can do it again. With the scores tied at 34-34 in the Grand Final, the team went into extra time and won with a final score of 39 - 34. Well done team. |

With a late run, the Angelinas made it to the Finals, but were pipped at the post. A good season, with skills increasing in every game.

The Dynamites are a new team this year, and have their hands full as they get to know each other. But they will keep fighting to the end, and are already planning their comeback in 2009 - now that is a team that is looking to the future! |

With a brilliant start to the Grand Final, the Cheetahs came out victorious. |

After winning the Minor Premiership, the Tahs knew they would have a battle on their hands to win the Grand Final. And a battle it was, with the scores tied at the start of the final quarter, the Tahs couldn't hang on in the end. But it was a gutsy effort, and the girls had every right to be proud of their performance this year. |
