Aerials |
Do you want to learn how
to fly? Safely? Aerials are a signature of Lindy
Hop and are great fun too.
With more than 10 years experience in aerials, Deb and Glenn
are Perth's most experienced swing aerials dancers and
teachers. We can teach you how to do any aerial that
interests you.

having to waltz at your wedding? Is swing more your
thing? We can teach you and your wedding party some basic
swing that is fun, fast and easy to learn and most of all
exciting to watch.
Amaze your family and friends as you swing your way through

your dance, or choose a song and we'll help you choreograph

| Swing Rueda |
Swing Rueda was adapted from Casino (Salsa)
Rueda by Jeff Millar and Elaine Hewlett in Dallas, Texas.
This facet of swing dancing is a very social, rotation dance
using classic Lindy figures and a few quirky variations.
Impossible to join in unless you have learnt it!

| Balboa |
Balboa is a closed-position dance that developed
in the Rendezvous Ballroom on the Balboa Island in Newport
Beach, California in the 1920s. It was developed out of
necessity, as the dances were extremely crowded and the
dancers needed a dance that could be fun, yet smaller than
Lindy Hop. Early in Balboa, the ballrooms wouldn't allow
you to swing the girl out, but in later years, a newer style,
now called Bal-Swing, was developed that relied heavily
on 8-count patterns. Balboa can be danced to any tempo,
although it's more common to see it danced at a fast tempo.
Maxie Dorf was one of the original Bal-Swing innovators,
and part of "The Big Four," the best Balboa dancers
in Southern California.
