Our Recent Trip To Fraser Island.
Here comes the bus.
Transferring to the 4WD bus for the island trip.
Morning tea at Rainbow Beach before we start the big sand trip.
Onto the barge for the trip across to Fraser Island, only about 10mins.
A lot of bushland devastated by recent bushfires.
Down on to the sand we go.
Some pretty rough "roads" through thick bush on this island.
We stopped at Lake Manchester for a swim and lunch. Absolutely beautiful place with crystal clear fresh water.
Even the snowbear mascot got into the clear blue water of Lake Manchester on Fraser Island with a lovely Irish tourist named Fay.
(Fay, If you ever see this I would love to hear from you. Email link on home page.)
An afternoon walk through the stunning bushland.
The trip home was along the beach with an afternoon tea stop at the beautiful Cooloola Colored Sands.
