Composition

Phil is a prolific and energetic composer whose work has been recorded and broadcast on public and community radio throughout Australia and internationally.

He composed and performed the score for Victorian Arts Centre / Aichi (Japan) Arts Centre co-production, Kan/En choreographed by Sumei Yonei (Japan), was commissioned by Arts Tasmania to write 'Longing (For Change)' for jazz ensemble, and has written and arranged scores of pieces for classical, jazz, big band and student ensembles.
