One area of jewellery design that Amanda adores is giving jewellery a new lease of life. So many women assemble jewellery over the years that they no longer enjoy, because it isn't quite right, is uncomfortable to wear, or it has simply fallen apart. These pieces often hold tremendous sentimental value as they were a family heirloom, have been bequeathed by a cherished relative or remind the owner of a special time or place in her life.
A sentimentalist, it brings Amanda great pleasure to repair and remodel old pieces of jewellery and transform them into something special that is just right for her clients.
Why not go through your collection and see if you have any jewellery that is broken and in need of repair, or pieces that don't really suit you, are too long or short, or simply need a revamp or complete overhaul? Bracelets can be transformed into necklaces, and necklaces turned into a bracelet and matching earrings ... the possibilities are exciting and rewarding.
For example, if you have a favourite earring that you've lost the pair to, this can be transformed into a stunning pendant on a necklace. Why not have earrings and a bracelet made to match your new necklace so that you have a stylish set?
This is a very affordable and 'green' way to have designer jewellery that is innovative, unique and suits you perfectly.
