Hi!

“The secret of all healing and achievement is to remove the barriers which divert the spiritual forces of life, thus opening the life to the divine inflow.” H.T.Hamblin.

I was recently reading ‘Surrender to God Within’, in which the writers state: “The Life Force is the free-flowing energy current manifest in the universe in all beings, things and ideas. Nothing exists without it. When we do not resist this life force, we experience bliss, when our entire organism is in harmony with reality on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. This means giving up misconceptions and defences which prevent integration of the personality with the life force”.

“Even in our present state of being we can contact the life force when we clarify the confusion of distorted feelings, thoughts and moods. When we accept the truth of the present state and are willing to be in the now, we will immediately become imbued with the wisdom and joy of the life force. As our development continues, the life force is experienced not only in rare moments, but becomes part of our life.”

I’d like to share a story of a day in my life with you, which reflects the above truth. We have a large back garden, which is bordered by a common wooden fence at the back. On the other side in the neighbour’s back garden their two young sons who often play ball. As the fence is not that high, you guess it; the balls regularly end up in our garden. So each time we find them, we throw them back into their garden.

Most of the time though, the boys climbed over the fence into our garden, retrieved the ball, then climbed back over the fence, by dragging one of our garden chairs over to the fence, then they went and got the dustbin, which is higher, so that they could step up and over the fence, leaving us with the job of returning the chair and bin to their spots.

After a while, this was becoming annoying, especially when their ball broke off one of the branches of our Lilac sapling. I could feel the annoyance building up in me, so when I found one of the balls again, I picked it up and threw it in the bin. “Right”, I thought, “that’s one ball less landing in our garden.” However, it kept bothering me, as I had obviously reacted from my 3D perception and I knew I had to find a 4D solution.

So I retrieved the ball from the bin and took it indoors, and made myself face my reaction. It inevitably always goes back to fear! So what was I afraid of? The balanced way of dealing with this situation would be to go and see the parents and after explaining what was happening together come to some win-win solution, in which the boys could carry on enjoying having fun without it causing these problems.

I realised it was exactly this confrontation with the parents that scared me, as because of experiences in the past, I associated confrontation with anger on their side and powerlessness on mine. So in reality it was not the parents I feared, but my conditioned 3D perception of them.

Having seen this clearly, I started meditating about the God in me meeting the God in them, and the picture of course adjusted itself to the 4D reality. I surrendered my 3D picture and focused on the 4D one, even though my 3D self was feeling very nervous at meeting the parents! However, God goes before us and makes the crooked places straight, because as I looked out of my window, I saw the mother in her back garden hanging out the washing.

So I grabbed the ball, and went out into the garden, up to the fence and called her over. She came over, a very nice lady. I handed her over the ball, explaining the situation, and she immediately agreed that we could work something out, like erecting some wire netting perhaps. We had a positive talk and so the problem was solved.

Quoting the same writers again: “To move into the attitude of positive intentionality you need to cultivate a deep inner certainty that the abundance and creative power of the universe transcends every limitation. You can create a positive attitude toward life according to a lawful, integrative process of transformation that makes you totally self-responsible.”

Courage and humility are required to recognise that we are dealing with a 3D negative intention. When negative intentionality is recognised, the road is open to the transition to positive intentionality, and thus to liberation.

“To make it work you need to adopt a trusting attitude towards yourself and life. Anchored in your good will, knowing that the power is yours, you can expose your negative intentionality. Otherwise it’s impossible to transform it. As you become free of your negative intentionality, you are no longer devastated by that of others. You will become open to love, in the awareness, that the universe is a rich and joyous place in which you are at home.”

“Regardless of what problems present themselves to you in your experience, the solution is always in your ability to Be Still and feel the very Presence of God. In proportion as you can relax in an inner conviction that this Presence is ‘the only reality’ will you behold the problems of this world dissolve of their own nothingness.” Joel Goldsmith.

I'd like to quote the following:

AND LOVE SAID: “Please hold the concept of love always in your minds. It is such a vast, yet such a simple subject. You know very well that it is the ego and the intellect that makes love so complicated, but in essence it is so simple. The Universe is simple. The whole idea of the Godhead is simple. Because that’s all it is: an idea. And one day, when you have attained a degree of enlightenment, you will look back and you will laugh. And your voice will ring out through the Universe, joined by others who have also felt this realization of the Divine. And you will say: “How could I have been so stupid, that I did not see the simplicity of this universe.”
