Hi!
“Nothing can come to you; nothing can be added to you. You are already that place in consciousness through which Infinity is pouring.” (Joel Goldsmith)
Where is ‘that place’ and how do we access it, experience it? Not with our minds! Because ‘that place’ is beyond our active minds and emotions, waiting to function in us. Everything we need to know is in this place, this state of consciousness, because the information is already in us, it is already part of us; in fact in this dimension we are this information at the same time of being able to receive it.
One of the ways to find ‘that place’ is by starting with slowing down our breathing and being still, by focusing on feeling the silence within, by being in the Now. Our mind is stilled and this allows us to be taken through a ‘portal’ into a different state of consciousness, a different dimension, referred to as the fourth dimension. Here the mind becomes an avenue of awareness through which we can receive impartations from God by listening to that ‘still small voice’.
When we sit in stillness and listen to that ‘still small voice’, we give ourselves up to the transition which takes place in our consciousness, as in this place a higher level of consciousness is experienced, which changes our perception of reality. We are released from the mind – the impostor pretending to be us – because we can’t listen and think at the same time. Our mind becomes empty and this ‘still small voice’ will rush in.
We don’t necessarily always hear this ‘still small voice’, sometimes it will translate into becoming a channel for inspiration and new ideas and solutions to come through, or unexpected adjustments to take place. Our will becomes aligned with God’s Will, which means that whatever God wants to express through us as us becomes our true fulfilment and joy. A profound healing comes from being in this place, where there is no separation, no fear; where the heart reconnects and where we realise the face of God looks through all eyes. For here we experience our true self, through which Infinity pours.
By visiting this place on a regular basis, a shift takes place in our understanding, we discover that we are not the thinker; we are not the mind, but the one being aware of the thinker. Very few people experience this shift in one sudden moment. For most of us it’s a gradual process, an awakening, starting with the becoming aware of the ‘witness’. This is followed by a series of small and bigger shifts, resulting in the veil getting lifted that little bit more each time, when we suddenly ‘see’ and understand a particular truth.
Quoting Joel Goldsmith: “This constant, consistent, and dedicated knowing of the truth will develop a state of consciousness that does not shift back and forth between the evil and the good: it holds itself at least with some measure of stability to the spiritual path and to spiritual realisation.”
Sometimes we are not even aware of the change in ourselves until something comes up and we realise we are responding differently. Our detachment grows, as does our unconditional love, things become less personal. There is a growing respect and embracing other people’s viewpoints and beliefs, as we realise that we are all on this journey in our own way. Life becomes simpler and we become more ordinary, as we begin more and more to live in this awareness. A process from ‘doing’ to ‘being’ takes place. As soon as even a measure of this fourth dimensional consciousness is attained, life begins to flow more by Grace than by effort.
When we dwell in this consciousness of spiritual truth and wisdom, by Grace, this truth gradually takes over the mind; it uses our mind for its expression, flowing through us, governing our experience. In time, we become the witness of the Divine activity of Life within us expressing and fulfilling Itself through us.
Till next time,
with love,
Fif
