Hi!

I have been studying ‘The Thunder of Silence’ for many months now, as it reveals such a quantum leap in our perception of reality. The author Joel Goldsmith begins with pointing out the following facts:

In the first chapter of Genesis, we read how man and woman are created in the 4 dimensional image and likeness of God, and live in the Garden of Eden, where we were free, whole and complete¸ where we lived in harmony, knowing that spiritual consciousness provided everything we needed. Truth used our unconditioned mind for Its expression, always flowing through us as us and expressing Itself in each continuous moment.

In the second chapter, man experiences the fall from Grace after eating from ‘the tree of good and evil’ after which he lives in the 3 dimensional world of duality, which is a mental realm. Our perception of reality changed as we came under the laws of opposites, time and space and we experienced a conditioned mental concept of the spiritual universe.

We started to develop concepts of people and things, and judge and condemn them good or bad accordingly. We became so attached to thoughts that we ended up being identified with them. We lost our connection with our spiritual 4D reality and life became a struggle to survive. We were trapped in bondage because now some thought, thing or person is necessary to obtain fulfilment. Mind started controlling us instead of us using it as an avenue of awareness for our Higher Self to express Itself through.

And now, of course, at this unprecedented point in time, a huge awakening is taking place and we are given the secret to get back to the ‘Garden of Eden’ state of consciousness, the secret of how to attain that unconditioned mind again, through which the 4D soul functions as effortless infinite supply, life and experience. We are the prodigal sons and daughters on our journey back to the Garden of Eden.

And so the way back to the Garden is to break the bondage to the 3D conditioned mind. First of all observe how this 3D mind labels persons or conditions and how this sitting in judgement creates pain and unhappiness. Then watch how this very act of observing the mind in this action, breaks this pattern, which means the 3D mind can no longer control us and the present moment can be allowed to be. This is the most important step towards attaining the 4D reality.

Robert Pilato puts it this way: “Everything that you perceive with your physical senses is a concept, and a concept is never Reality; it is only a concept of reality. Since Consciousness is infinite, it is the only substance, the only presence, the only being. When, through a dedicated meditation regimen, you let in fourth-dimensional truth, concepts begin to disappear with the dawn of enlightenment. Then Reality— and your oneness with it—is revealed as always having been present”.

The minute we are in the present moment we can look at any person or condition and say, It is God appearing as, we no longer label it in any way, thoughts stop and the mind becomes quiet, because there are simply no thoughts left to think about. Then an adjustment can take place.

‘Any good human being can piously overlook the faults of others and even forgive them their sins. Any good human being can do that, but it takes spiritual vision to be able to say, “I cannot see anyone. The face of God looks out through all eyes”. (Joel Goldsmith)’

This is quite a challenge, but the continuous dedicated practise will enable us to make that quantum leap and return to The Garden of Eden, which is a state of desirelessness – a contentedness with being.

I would like to share with you the following quote:

I Have Learned a Great Secret - by Mary Baker Eddy

I have learned a great secret. I am going to tell you what the secret is, and it is wonderful.

It is this: Not to see or hear or repeat any kind of imperfection. It is seeing and hearing and repeating good only, at all times and under all circumstances, and in spite of everything that appears to the contrary.

I make this resolve every morning, when I first open my eyes, and I renew it every hour of the day. I see perfection in myself in my friends, in my so-called enemy, in my affairs and in world affairs.

I take my radical stand for the perfection of God and everything and for everything and everybody He has created. I look upon the world with God's eyes and see it just as He sees it, and I refuse to see it in any other way.

I stop a dozen times a day, and renew the resolve, and make sure that I am not repeating error or giving way to criticism. I watch my thoughts about people, the lame, the old, the unloved to sense that I pass in the street, stray animals, I accept nothing. I have taken my radical stand for perfection and I will not, absolutely will not, relax this perfect standard.

The result has been simply marvellous. Try it and you will find that you will be seeing with God's eyes, His perfect sight, and you will behold a perfect universe, the outward condition of your inward thinking.

Till next time!
