Layout and Construction

Below are the four walls going up:

 The Eastern (right) wall

This is the only external wall. It's 6m long and is divided into three equal sections: wall-window-wall each roughly 2m in length.

The Eastern Wall

 The southern (rear) wall

This will be the rear of the home theatre. Behind this wall is the kitchen and then the back of the house/yard.

The Southern wall

 The northern (front) wall

This wall is where the projector screen will be mounted and is shared with the garage. This and the rear wall are 4.8 metres in length.

The northern wall

 The west (left) wall

As shown this will be the entrance to the home theatre via double internal sliding doors ("cavity doors"). You can see in the background the 2m window has been installed. I checked out getting double glazed windows for sound proofing but the figure I was quoted was $2000+. The neighbours shouldn't be affected as there is no living areas close to this window on the neighbouring properties - double driveways between fence and nearest house.
