Introduction to Pullips
Pullips are a 11" doll created by by JUN Planning of Japan and manufactured by the Korean company Chunsang Chunha in Korea. First released in July 2003, Pullips have oversized heads (similar to Blythe) and a highly articulated body. Pullips also have a unique eye mechanism that allows her eyes to move left and right and wink via controls on the back of it's head. Each doll comes with a unique outfit, accessories and a stand.
Early dolls had bodies with visible screws, the release of dolls have weak necks that easily snap, though this was remedied with later releases. Starting in December 2003 Pullips were given a new body that is lighter with no visible screws, soft torso, and joints that can be pulled apart. All dolls prior to March 2004 have rooted hair in their scalp, dolls post March 2004 they are all "wigged". Recently Jun Planning has released Pullip mini's, they have no articulation like the full size dolls nor do they have the eye movements. They are basically just a mini version of the larger dolls. There are currently 7 different types of Pullip mini's which can been seen on the gallery page.

Jun Planning has released several of these dolls .Current limited/special editions are: Wind, Leprotto, Savon, Purezza, Bianca, Mitzi, Vivien, Birthday Special Namu & Pullip double sets, Winter Purezza.
NAMUS
Introduction to Namus
Namus are also a doll created by by JUN Planning of Japan and manufactured by the Korean company Chunsang Chunha in Korea. Namus are 12" tall, and have the same body functions of a Pullip. Namus are often referred to as "Pullips Boyfriend". There are currently 5 different Namus available which can been seen on the gallery page.
