ROAIDA STAFFORDS

   Bold, fearless & totally reliable.

ROAIDA Staffords is a small Prefix located on the Central Coast of NSW. My brother Daniel and I made the decision in early 2000 that we were going to purchase a Show Quality Stafford. We attended many local Shows and even a Stafford Specialty in Sydney, and as a result we met many informed and friendly people. But when it came time to actually purchase this "Show Quality" Pup, we found out that this was much easier said then done! A few disappointments later I came into contact with Pam Kilburn from PENNYFLOWER Stafford’s in JUNEE. Being born in Junee, we regularly returned to visit our family and friends, so it was quite easy to stay in contact. An agreement was made between Pam and I for PENNYFLOWER Stafford’s to supply us with a pup that had the potential for Show success. After several litters came and went, we finally received the call that we had been waiting for... Pam had a pup that she was happy to release into a Show home. Late 2001, I made the trip back down to Junee. PENNYFLOWER KARMA was ours! We fell in love with this puppy instantly, and to this day have never been disappointed with her addition to our family. KARMA is the true Nanny Dog! She instantly adopted our two year old son, and graciously allowed his mother and I to assist her in his raising. This instinct was very prevalent when the time came for KARMA to produce her first litter.

A true regret was never Showing Karma as I had planned, but life is full of second chances! In early 2006 I had the opportunity to purchase a very promising young male puppy, again thanks to Pam from PENNYFLOWER Stafford’s. This pup was the result of a mating between a U.K import and a line bred bitch which Pam personally had great success with in the Show Ring. I was later told by Pam, that a very knowledgeable and widely respected lady had informed her years prior, that a combination of these two pedigrees could produce "something special". I am extremely happy to say that it appears that this lady was correct. PENNYFLOWER Lil Bandit hit the Show Scene at the tender age of three months and two days, and managed to win the Baby Puppy Dog Class at the NSW Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society's 80th Championship Show, and then the following week backed up to win Baby of Breed at a All Breeds Championship Show. This was all I needed to be bitten by the Show Bug.

Very special thanks to Pam Kilburn for all her help and guidance over the years. It was and is very much appreciated.
