Giclée Prints Giclée (or Iris) printing is state of the art technology in printmaking. The prints are very finely detailed and the colours very close to the original painting. If a Giclée print is next to the original, it is difficult to tell them apart. The inks used are archival quality - they will last for almost a century if they are kept under glass and out of sunlight. Genuine artist quality watercolour paper is used for the prints. Genuine 23k gold leaf can be applied by if required. All the Giclée prints are signed and individually numbered. Sometimes prints may also be finished by hand by the artist which makes them truly unique. Laminated Laser Prints High resolution laser prints which are laminated to protect the inks from fading. Colour should last for years and must not be exposed to sunlight. Greeting Cards Card and envelope are packaged in a protective clear plastic cover. High quality laser prints are used for the handmade cards which are signed by the artist. |
