Buddha Nature

Inspired by my appreciation of Buddhism, the Dharmachakra or Wheel of Life becomes the mandala with the central focus being the Buddha seated on his lotus throne, one hand extended to touch the earth in blessing. In each corner is a Tibetan endless knot, symbolic of eternity. Butterflies are symbols of transformation and those little creatures, the beetles, often overlooked on nature walks, are given their special place in this painting.
