Wildflower
Garden
Flowers are natural mandalas. They announce the seasons
and are an archetypal image of the soul, of consciousness and life.
In Judaism flowers blossoming are a sign of Yahweh's pleasure. In Aztec
culture those born under the sign of the flower are believed to be gifted
for artistic pursuits and magic.
Australian native flowers are often tiny and we have to have all of
our senses focused to fully appreciate this microcosmic aspect of the
bush, but then we are wonderfully rewarded and reminded that the small
and seemingly insignificant have as much value and beauty as the more
noticeable things in nature.
