Anne was a daughter of Neil and Isabella Ross and was married at Ironbark Creek to David Murdoch senior on 4 October 1840 near Singleton. Ironbark Creek was in the Liverpool Plains area. Theoretically he should have required permission to marry but does not show up there or in the Banns for 1840. Marriage Certificate Number 599. According to Death Certificate 2619 1759 she was 58 years old, had been in the colony for 42 years and was born at Inverness Scotland. It also states that she married at 16 years of age in Moreton Bay Queensland and was the mother of 11 children. Certified by her daughter in law Catherine Murdoch.
