Erected to the memory of Robert MACLEOD, gamekeeper in Langwell, Strath Oykel, who departed this life on 1st March 1888, aged 64 years. Justly and deeply regretted. Also his beloved wife, Mary MACKAY who died 30th April 1898 aged 67 years. Also of their son, Hugh who died at Langwell 7th July 1908 aged 51 years and their daughter, Davidina, died Echan, Surrey 16th July 1925.
Mary married Robert Macleod, son of Hugh Macleod and Anne Ross, on 3 Dec 1852 in Kincardine, Ross And Cromarty. (Robert Macleod was born on 12 Aug 1823 in Kincardine, Ross And Cromarty and died on 1 Mar 1888 in Langwell, Strath Oykel.)
