Erected by Angus MACLEOD, tacksman in Brae, in memory of his wife, Catherine ROSS, who departed this life on 6th February 1850, aged 60 years. Also the above Angus MACLEOD who died 8 July 1886, aged about 92 years. His second son, Donald, died May 1841, aged 21 years. Also his youngest son Kenneth, died January 1916, aged 82 years.
