Casualty: Private JOHN MACLEOD, S/16835 Served With: 1st Bn. Gordon Highlanders Died: 12th July 1918 Commemorated: KARACHI 1914-1918 WAR MEMORIAL Pakistan Additional Information: Age 30 Son of Hector and A. I. Macleod, of Ardgay, H'land.
With reference to the above casualty I can confirm that his body lies in Lahore Cantonment North Cemetery which is unmaintainable for the Commission's staff. He is therefore commemorated on the Karachi memorial.
