Glencalvie - 1845

On the 24th May 1845 18 families, about  90 people were evicted from their homes in Glencalvie. This particular eviction was recorded by a correspondent from "The Times" After the people were evicted they took Shelter in the Churchyard at Croick

A description of the events may appear here over time, but there are a few resources out there on the WWW already.
