The time of Ascension is near. The enemies of Ascension grow stronger and more bold with every passing day. In the town of Columbus, powerful forces of stasis are mounting. Will the Technocratic Union triumph?

The Mages of Columbus have been hunted down and destroyed. Only one man remains to fight the technological incursion - Dr Jeremy Rastus ('Doc' to his friends), a Son of Ether.

But when a strange message appears on his time-writer telling him to expect two new Scientists and a Shaman, his hope is restored. Can the new Mages halt the progress of the Technocratic Union?
