Karma's Poetry

Back

Poetry inspired by A Sleazy Game that is Possibly Very Cool as part of Karma's character contributions.

Maternal Instinct
Karma was pregnant with Brand's 'demon child', and Artemis discovered that if born, it would be instrumental in destroying the universe. So she shot Karma in the stomach in an attempt to kill the child. Needless to say, it didn't work.

Ode to Random
Random returned from Chaos as King of Amber amidst much celebration, most of it his own. He made a less than favourable impression on Karma.

Who Plays Who?
This is a meta-game look at a single scene, where Karma and Bleys are attacked by assassins. It's Karma's desperation vs. the player's amusement.

The Ringleader
In order to stop Brand destroying reality, Karma and her cousins had to venture through an unstable trump gate into a world completely populated by Brand-clones.

Who's the Bad Guy?
One of the Elders opened the castle gates, and allowed Ganesh to invade. Karma didn't know who was responsible, so set about finding motives for all of them. She's that sort of person.

Bonding over Blood
Karma and Artemis hadn't been on speaking terms since the 'uterine sniper' incident. That all changed when the two of them ventured into Ganesh, and took on the entire army by themselves.

How Amber's Heroes Killed a Goddess and Rescued Bleys
It's not easy to write an epic poem about 'heroes' who had to be blackmailed, threatened, and manipulated into saving the Kingdom. But, with a little poetic license, here it is. This saga details the first main plot of the game fairly accurately - although the enthusiasm is largely exaggerated.

How Amber's Heroes were Tricked into Rescuing Brand and Adopting his Children
This saga details the second main plot of the game. Again, the enthusiasm levels are largely exaggerated, but the story itself is accurate. Yes, we really did rescue Brand. Yes, we really did adopt his children. But it wasn't our fault! Our GM is evil.
