The idea came from rockfaces, which show the layers of different sediment over the times.

Weavers note: warp: swedish seine twine, weft: pure wool, hand spun wool in natural colours and dyed, hand spun merino wool + kid mohair dyed, hand spun dyed pure silk, embroidery yarn, cottolin, acrylic wool, hand spun mohair bouclé + polyester, mohair bouclé and brushed mohair, viscose, metalised polyester.
Size: 80 cm [ 31 ½" ] x 105 cm [ 41 ¼" ]. Free hanging.
