Building of the Handspinners and Weavers Guild of SA in 1991
Woven for the Handspinners and Weavers Guild of SA.
Started in 1991 and lived as UFO ( Un Finished Object ) for the next 15 yrs.
Finally caught up with it. (No more skeletons in my cupboard
)
Weavers note: warp: swedish seine twine.
weft: pure wool hand spun singles and hand dyed by members of the Guild matching the photo below.
Woven on my tapestry frame loom. Size: 40 cm ( 15 ½" ) x 24 cm ( 9 ½" ).
