Since this is a multi faith chapel and also caters for anyone who just needs a quiet space regardless of religion or faith, the bible verses have been chosen to be reassuring and supporting

20/06/08 Contrary to my expectations work had slowed last year and became so difficult,
that I stopped weaving late last year.
At the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with advanced cataracts. I now had my first operation and was absolutely amazed at this miracle of modern medicine. I could not believe how beautiful the colours of the trees were when I walked out of the hospital! I look forward to my second operation soon, because weaving with one eye is not quite as simple as I thought, and above all, very tiring.
I will update this page as soon as I can joyfully continue weaving again!

17/09/07 This is a snap shot of the tapestry just cut off the loom last year.
I still have the finishing work to do and the backing to sew.
The title strip on the left of the tapestry will be at the back of the tapestry when it is finished.
