Vermiro - Spinning

My spinning and dyeing

Superfine Merino has to be washed first
before spinning, because the fibers are so fine that
the grease can not wash out completely after spinning.
I wash mine, sorted in staples, in onion bags.

When plying superfine merino with kid mohair
the wool needs to be washed in singles first because
any wool shrinks more than the mohair single.

One single superfine merino, plyed with one single kid mohair .
One single green variegated dyed merino
plied with one single of onion dyed kid mohair.

My first attempt at Bouclé spinning.
2 singles of kid mohair plied with cotton-polyester thread.
The poly/cotton stops the mohair from stretching.
